Rahab Rice serves as assistant organist and choir-director at OLR and conducts rehearsals for the children’s choir. She also plays for the weekly school Mass.
On the side, she enjoys teaching private piano and harp lessons and performing harp for weddings and special events.
Rahab is a native of Ireland, but came with her family to live in Greenville, South Carolina when she was six years old. She was brought up in an Evangelical Baptist home, but converted and was received into the Catholic Church Easter of 2015.
Rahab is a 2014 graduate of Furman University with a degree in organ performance. During her four years at Furman, she also studied harp and had the opportunity to perform in the symphony orchestra and university harp ensemble.
Rahab and her husband Alexander have a baby daughter, Caecilia, who is named after St. Caecilia, the patroness saint of musicians.
